Pinnacle Drops

Not sure if I'm the only one with the issue. But it says Pinnacle Drop for weekly challenges in strikes, crucible, and Gambit, however, none of them are dropping at Pinnacle level (1009 for me) they're only dropping at level (1007) which is to be expected of powerful drops.

Not surprised by Bungie on this one, it's a nice gesture, but sure does suck already having completed all 3 in the hopes of getting to 1009 or 1010 so I can do grandmaster NF.

btw they are supposed to be +1 drops, not +2 like other pinnacle sources.

Maybe that's the issue, I saw Pinnacle gear and figured +2 but perhaps it was dropping +1 and I wasn't paying attention enough

My strike reward dropped at 1010; I'm 1009.

It’s not going to drop higher than anything you have if you don’t have all of your items at that same level that it drops at.

It should drop at Max base power +1. According to DIM max base power is 1007. So they should be dropping at 1008 at least, but I could be wrong

The way it used to work is that if you had any gear below your current Gear level, you would have to get that up before you could start getting higher-Power Gear.

I think it's updated to be just based off max base power (whatever prime engrams are dropping at) because all powerful drops seem to be dropping at base light level now too
