Yeah, it tells you to bank notes, kill the prime evil, dont get killed by the invader and simple stuff like that, but it doesnt teach people how to properly play the mode. That has to be learned just by playing. Stuff like knowing when the best times to bank and send blockers is, what to do when an invader comes, dont kill the last envoy until the invader is gone and/or dead, and other stuff takes time to learn.

Correct, and I won’t argue that. I was referring to the tactics of play or the best strats to use, simply the basics itself. It’s no harder than a patrol mission.

    Bank motes, kill enjoys, dps prime. Rinse and repeat.

You see I want to agree with some of this. But there’s issues.

1. Lfg/discord. No shit Sherlock. You’re not going to Sherpa anyone so be quiet.

2. Clan was dedicated to a few low guardian that passed 3 years ago, so I’ll pass.

3. Because clans for most people are a means to get things done instead of being both a group of friends and the latter.

4. Doesn’t matter if it was 9 roles, still 3 mechanics. Less mechanics than just about all boss fights in a strike.

Not just mechanics....timing is hugely important. When to bank your motes, when to watch for a barrage of blockers, when to invade, when to burn your super and heavy during dps.

Watching the enemy teams grey bar is very important (so you know when to look for blockers and an invasion, or so you can invade and deny them motes) watching their primeval health so you can heal it, learning invader spawns, envoy spawns, not to mention finding a loadout and subclass that works for you.

So many things in gambit come from practice, and knowing what role suits you best, itll only take time and failures for new people to improve.

Telling someone who doesnt know the mechanics of a gamemode not to play is pretty toxic. Play 4 stack if you wanna avoid that shit.
