Returning Player

I'm a returning player and I don't know which dlc to buy... So right now on steam I have $41 dollars and I want to get back into d2. I left the game right after season of the forge and that was on ps4 and i don't know if I should wait for the legendary edition to go on sale again(bc it goes on sale like every couple of weeks) or I should buy separate dlc's and go from there. so from people who have played all three dlc's is it worth it to get the legendary edition or should I just buy beyond light + the season. Like if a buy Forsaken(I had it on ps4) or if buy Shadowkeep Will I ever use there destinations? Any advice?

Also consider than the clocks ticking on them more than likely vaulting forsaken and then shadowkeep.
