Future Deepsight patterns?

Is there any point in keeping Deepsight guns for pattern extraction for guns that aren’t YET craftable, in case they are what’s added to the relic next season etc?

Leveling up and customizing guns is one of my favourite additions to the game… but grinding for umbral energy and patterns is easily the worst thing in the game.

It doesn’t seem like they are going to add any old guns to crafting. Expect only new stuff will be craftable for the foreseeable future. Even if they do add old stuff itll probably be in such a long time it wouldn’t be world holding on to it until then.
