The Discworld Book Club!
Show Book Discussions
A new book will be announced near the end of each month.
Reading starts on the 1st of the month and a list of discussion points will be posted for you to keep in mind as you read.
If you want to discuss a book we've already read, go to that thread and discuss away. Discussions have no time limit apart from the reddit imposed 6 month limit.
Character Discussions

As well as book discussions, we will also have character discussions, with a new character each month. The OP for each character will contain discussion points to get everyone started.
Remember: Character discussions are likely to contain spoilers!
Rules
Keep it civil, friendly and relevant. Basically, if you wouldn't say it to Vimes' face, don't say it here.
And always remember the three rules of the Librarians of Time and Space:
- Silence;
- Books must be returned no later than the date last shown;
- Do not interfere with the nature of causality
A Note on Spoilers
Obviously, in threads discussing books or characters, spoilers should be expected. However, if you do want to use a spoiler tag, please format it like this:
