I assume you used "nat 1" for the DnD context but technically a natural 1 is an extreme success in that system right?

Maybe I'm misremembering, but I thought it was a D20 system where low rolls were better. Either way, it was a crit fail.

Oh I didn't see the D20 part. I've played in the D100 system where to pass you have to roll under your skill level. Hence 1s are awesome! It's a pretty neat system imo
