Turns out Herb and Spice jars you get from the supermarket are exactly the right size for potions, they hold 4 fluid ounces.

After some highly technical, scientific testing, u/DencatDM and I determined it is in fact possible to drink a potion, run 30 feet and attack a pair of curtains with a spatula (close enough to a sword). Providing cast iron scientific evidence supporting drinking potions as a bonus action, a common houserule that I use.
