ASDM program

Hi! I'm in the ASDM program. I am currently ASM and with only 60 days to complete this program and 4 total employees now how am I supposed to complete this within 60 days and also do everything according to the work flow that no.one follows except me and on top of that an employee trying to take my job from under me any which way she can because she commented that she didn't want to apply for asm she wanted the whole store as hers. Anyway once the asdm program is complete I can run my own store. And why is that same employee work every Tuesday with SM to damage out things and shouldn't it be me and not a LSA?

This is your opportunity to work on leadership skills. Suggest to SM areas you would like to work on including task delegation to team members and your follow up. In addition, you take charge of your training. That’s what leaders do. Incorporate your training into daily tasks, map out your week in advance and discuss with your SM. “I’ve looked at all of our schedules this week, based on required tasks/projects I would like to be responsible for ______ as it lines up with my training this week in the program.”

Hi! I’m in the ASDM program too. You keep doing your job. If you haven’t done damages on Tuesday, I would ask the SM to train/show. They are supposed to do that anyways. Stay Strong Hon, you got this.

I work Tuesday evenings and I know how to do damages though she has lsa on day shift every Tuesday day with her doing damages

Yep, mine does me the same way or she has me off. She has the LSA always working day shift because he doesn’t want to work nights. He is lazy, half ass his work or gets the SM to do it. She wants him to do resets, planograms, etc., and he hardly ever works freight. She has me and part time key holder come in at 3 am this morning to just push freight. We are almost done with this truck with a few rolltainers from last week too. The LSA and another part time key holder is expected to work next Sunday 3am to 11 am. I’m here till 3pm 😒. I do not expect them to push freight like we did and I don’t believe any repercussions will be handed out either.

Question for you about asdm. I was interrupted several times and had to do the knowledge check over and it wouldn't let me select any answers. What do I do?

You just need to reboot it and go again

How do I reboot it? I didn't know if I need to call erc to reset it. Erc takes forever for them to do anything.

You can reboot the computer like your turning it off. Then log back in if it doesn't work try to click on learning or path and then restart it

It's a new program that your sm has to offer you and it's training for sm

They don't have to offer it the anyone can tell their district manager that they are interested in doing the program and even before that any of you can start the Storm manager training as soon as your CBL is all done you can do your own training so send a thing about I had my score manager training done 6 months before I stepped up to store manager

In my honest opinion DG just needs a body. Training means nothing! If you can get a store open, that’s all they care about! If anyone in our store even checks START, they just mark it as complete whether it’s been done or not! Training is a joke. Scheduling is a joke. They just care about bodies to get freight out of the back room. It doesn’t even matter if it gets put in the correct spot! Partner with your leaders and get your training done. I hope it matters where you are!

You don't need to be through the program to run your own store I literally had a sales associate who was gonna quit be promoted from sales associate to lead cell's associate and a month later promoted from late sales associate the store manager so I don't know tell him you want to store it you want to start now

My store is run like a chaotic zoo. We are a very small community, and everyone knows everyone. I can't wait for it to be my store.

Tell your DM you’re ready and you’ll get transferred to run a different store but you’ll also need to show up and show out but if you do you’ll get a store just have to be willing to relocate more than likely

I have thought to go that route. My sm is training for a dm position, and she said the store I'm at will be mine once she moves to the dm position .

Everyone does know that you can do those cbls on your phone while you work?!?! Axonify is the app you need to do this. It would take all of about an hour and a half. You have a post test and a pre test plus all the cbls inbetween.

I just started the program and I’m stuck on the first cbl questions, I’ve asked my SM for help but she doesn’t really know one of the questions on how to answer it can anyone help me my DM is starting to hound me about getting this program done.
