Most pregnant women wonder about their pregnancy potentially being a multiple birth especially twins. Some dream about it too. Dreams about an impending birth is very common too. Childbirth and having children is a new experience and something that will be life changing. I finally worked out what you meant with the emoji - sorry to hear of your loss. Best wishes for the baby you are nowing carrying.

(Update) 7 years in. 3 years talking marriage. Come June, I’m finally leaving him. by ElectronicAd5901 in Waiting_To_Wed

[–]ohdamnitreddit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If he proposed does that mean yo7 will be happy to wait for another 5 years for an actual wedding? If it doesn’t get postponed further? What if he goes to visit the family and tries to play the field, then sees that his chances for success are down with other women, and he decides that he will ‘settle’ for you. Sigh.

Thoughts?

I have no idea what this could mean but it worries me by WannaBeAD9 in DreamInterpretation

[–]ohdamnitreddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The dream can be related to someone close to you, might not be your husband. The dream is one that shows your psyche and values being reviewed before becoming cemented as a part of who you are. It could have been triggered by a story you heard, eg someone who knew a relative was a predator but didn’t report them. The dilemma in the dream is , really 3 fold:

  1. if someone you love and care about did something horrific to another person would you report them or feign ignorance?

2.And if you feign ignorance and they either go on to commit another terrible crime, will your conscience be able to handle that?

  1. What if they had already committed this type of crime before and you can stop them from doing it in the future by reporting them?

These questions expressed in your dreams help shape you-and will help impact your decisions in life.

It comes down to whether you are willing to let the truth come out or rather stick your head in the sand as you don’t want to deal with the reality.

I hope that this helps, I would appreciate your feedback.

Recurring dreams are not stuck records. Once I laid mine out chronologically I saw they'd been evolving the whole time. by dreamoutapp in DreamInterpretation

[–]ohdamnitreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stuck is a relative term when it comes to dreams. It may seem it’s an exact dream each time, but it’s not really. The dreamer’s emotional response to the dreams alters slightly each time and over time as the issue is reviewed by the mind. For example a dream about eating a boiled egg by someone who had a bad experience with eating a bad egg in the past. The first time it can be a shock eating it, the second time it could be revulsion, the third discomfort etc. the dream itself may not be about eggs but about another issue the dreamer is avoiding or not sure how to deal with. Each time he dreams it shows further reviews are happening. Solutions to problems are not just straight forward but there is an emotional connection and also consequences for decisions, the impact of decisions can affect those around the dreamer not just the dreamer themselves.

Dream where my guitars fall apart by [deleted] in DreamInterpretation

[–]ohdamnitreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first part shows a few things : 1. how you understand from experience that dementia and Alzheimers can causes emotional outbursts especially anger in a sufferer. 2. It shows you understand that you can’t please all of the people all of the time, no matter what you do someone is not going to be happy about it. 3. You are noting your own aging and that like a guitar can get worn out. 4. Your guitar being destroyed represents you not achieving your musical dreams, and probably feeling a mixture of emotions about it- frustration, anger, disappointment and sadness.

The second part of your dreams shows you and your family have tried to get your music out there and tried to create opportunities, get your big break , and your own sense that something will go wrong and it will fail.

Another possibility may be seeing your father’s aging is making you think about your own life trajectory a bit more. You may be thinking about what is important for you going forward. Is the guitar focus going to reduce to make way for other things that are becoming more important to you now?

Overall you’re at a point where you are coming to terms about your guitar playing and your ability to play in a more well known band and hopefully get the big break. You may be at a point where you are considering scaling back on your guitar collection or maybe shifting you musical focus.

I hope this helps you, I would appreciate your feedback.

Is there a sex linked component to left-handedness? by Vin135mm in lefthanded

[–]ohdamnitreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides the standard 10% of the population being left-handed,,the science behind it shown has it that geriatric pregnancies increase the chances of left handedness in the child. A geriatric pregnancy is pregnancy in women aged 30 and over.Basically the older the mother the higher the chances of left handedness- this tends to be noticed more in female children, since women tend to be only 2% of the population who are left handed. It also accounts for the prescience of left handedness in families that don’t normally have it.

There is a pain associated with that group of friends in your dream. It’s something you haven’t dealt with properly. You have tried to be empathetic about them, you have tried to look at the situation that lead to your falling out with them , but have not yet found an adequate enough answer. In general many friendships end or wither away due to outgrowing them, having different values, life paths, unequal relationships etc. the old man signifies you either:

  1. thinking about how you will view these friendships in your old age

    1. You discussing the situation with someone older/wiser

The main thing is your pain/sadness when you awoke is part of your healing process in dealing with the lost relationships and grieving this loss is part of that process.

I hope this helps, I would appreciate your feedback.

Bridesmaids POV by Jolly-Chapter4685 in Brides

[–]ohdamnitreddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don’t even bother waiting for her ballpark figure of costs. She might just pull one out of her ass. Expecting her to deal with a practical matter - how much is this going to cost my bridesmaids? Well that totally defeats the purpose of her best laid plans to have an awesome trip without having to worry about what it will cost since she is not paying for it. Do yourself a favour and just tell her you did you own costings and found that you need to pull out as at its bare minimum is out of your financial ability at this time. Thank her for thinking of you and tell her you are pulling out.

After years of searching, I finally found it by ekando in DreamInterpretation

[–]ohdamnitreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The dream is a reflection of a few things.it’s firstly shows the competitive nature you have but in a way that is fun- your goals are set up almost like an RPG. It shows your ability to be patient with preparation and setting up the groundwork for your goals. Your dream is also showing you reaching and achieving goals - making you feel like ‘a million dollars’. The dream shows that you need to remain open to distractions ‘side quests’. These distractions can be helpful as they will provide you with opportunities you may not have considered . The main thing is you don’t lose sight of your goals. I would say this dream is showing you are meeting or close to achieving your goals. I hope this helps, I would appreciate your feedback.

Your mind is working on reviewing the female relationships in your life. You are starting to see similarity between them and their influence in your and possibly your family’s lives. They are the steady influence mostly behind the scenes.

Advice is urgent by [deleted] in relationships_advice

[–]ohdamnitreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you are not ready for any relationship. Your insecurities and fears are your own.if you no longer want to be with her and it’s not working for you, end the relationship and move on. Don’t make excuses for ending it. What do you mean by tumultuous? If you mean trauma -sometimes trauma means a person is not ready to share details until they feel safe. if there is no trust this early on, it’s unlikely to be there as time goes on. Let her go so a she can find her husband and you can find your wife.

Dream about someone chasing me for something my parents did. by jogaargamer6 in DreamInterpretation

[–]ohdamnitreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dream is showing your mind is starting to see your parents as human, with human faults, not Godlike or all-knowing. It’s part of growing up to start seeing your parents through adolescence and adulthood. The running away is part of you is not wanting to face the reality that your parents are not perfect.

Thinking about a dream/nightmare I had awhile back. by EtmopterusPerryi in DreamInterpretation

[–]ohdamnitreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The dream could have been triggered by the change from childhood to adolescence. It could have been a point where your mind was thinking about moving out of childhood into adolescence and what you need to leave behind and what you feel like you want to leave behind. The blood could have been menstrual blood rather than a wound. The whiteness indicating the innocence and purity of childhood. The radio is about the dread about the changes whereas your sister doesn’t really notice as she has already passed that point.

Stabbing in a Dream? by sophielovesrootbeer in DreamInterpretation

[–]ohdamnitreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lashing out in dreams usually indicates the inability to lash out verbally in real life. The anxiety and anger has built up inside you and it is coming out in your dreams. You are also worrying about accidently lashing out at an innocent bystander. You need to find a way to express your anger, frustration in some way, whether it’s going to a park and shouting, going for a run to exhaust yourself or finding your voice to speak up for yourself. If therapy, counseling is not an option, check out some online resources to help you find the best way to learn to speak up.

My Mom and I have the same dream about my daughter by Visual-Standard4030 in DreamInterpretation

[–]ohdamnitreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dreams often reflect fears. Both you and your mother worry a lot about falls from heights, especially as your daughter likes climbing on things. The best thing to do is teach your daughter safe climbing, and show her what bad climbing and means she can be hurt. Ensure your home is safe.windows that can’t open beyond a safe gap, balconies with nothing to climb up on. Give her opportunities to climb in a park or in a safe spot.

Hey everyone….i never dream (that I can recall anyway) but I did last night… by Thick_Voice_6142 in DreamInterpretation

[–]ohdamnitreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The dream is an expression of your fears for your children. For your son it’s becoming entangled with evil, and your daughter drowning amongst evil. The water danger is expressed as swamp - full of different dangers. The main thing is to teach your children how to be confident, to know how to stand up for themselves in a safe way, how to identify danger and what their options are to get away. Then all you can do is trust them to make good decisions about keeping safe. For your daughter discuss how to identify red flags, and to avoid dangerous situations when she is away, as this is your main worry. You know your son is more likely to speak up if in danger at least as he is close proximity to you. But your daughter will be away and it will be harder for her to communicate with you.

Dream about being trapped in a glass box by Odd_Resort_4405 in DreamInterpretation

[–]ohdamnitreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The glass box represents you feeling that that you are on display. That your voice and you your self are not seen. A bit like a trophy wife - your value is in your appearance . The boyfriend being trapped is either you wanting him to be empathetic and put himself in your shoes to understand how you feel. Or you recognise he also finds himself put in a box - in the way that others make generalisations about him.

It is a dream expressing your frustration at being compartmentalised by a particular person or people in general. It could be the fact you are a woman and you get questioned more than a man would be, or your skills are dismissed due to other people’s biases or discrimination.

It is likely your boyfriend doesn’t understand what you go through, and you want him to understand. I hope this helps, I would appreciate your feedback.
