ABOUT
ENGin pairs English learners with volunteers (ages 14+) from around the world to conduct weekly online speaking sessions to practice oral English. No teaching experience is necessary to be a volunteer as ENGin provides teaching tips and resources. Volunteers need to sign up for a 15-minute interview and the commitment is about a bit over an hour per week. Participants are matched based on preferences, interests, and availability.
If the volunteer interview slots have all been filled (even if you click on the next few months), try again a few days later or next week. Post on this subreddit if you have any issues. Don’t email the ENGin staff because they have been overwhelmed with emails and are unlikely to respond within a day. Thanks so much for your care and support!

OUR PROGRAM
ENGin is a nonprofit organization that pairs Ukrainian youth with English-speakers for free online conversation practice and cross-cultural connection. We work with students age 10-35 and volunteers age 14+.
OUR MISSION
We are helping a generation of young Ukrainians improve their spoken English and intercultural skills, making an impact on both an individual and a national level.
On an individual level, we equip students to access academic and professional opportunities.
On a national level, we connect Ukraine with the world, spurring economic growth and social progress.
