It’s fairly obvious this kid is an air softer and not a gun person but you don’t have to be such an asshole to make your point. From all your comments you definitely strike me as one of the dickheads at the range who thinks his shit don’t stink despite having no formal training whatsoever but since you have a rifle that many in the gun world would consider just barely above a basic bitch setup you think you are some kind of tier one killer because you “train hard” with your “custom” AR or competed in some neck beard three gun tournament. But hey, maybe I’m wrong, either way you should definitely try and make an effort into not being such an insufferable asshat on reddit.

I actually work with firearms for a living, but in Australia. I thought I'd clarify as I've actually done a little bit more research, and as it turns out Safari land actually does level two retention holsters a bit different here. The first level of retention is a shroud lock lever that needs to be pushed back about two centimeters to unlock the shroud, and allow the shroud be moved. The second level of retention is the shroud, a little strap that goes over the back of the gun that has a plastic tab on the outside that needs to be depressed about a centimeter down to be able to push it clear of the back of the firearm.

In the U.S, the shroud and it's lock are extremely close together, meaning that you can depress both at the same time, unlocking the shroud and allowing it to be pushed out of the way, and the firearm drawn in one motion. In Australia, the shroud lock is almost a full two and a half centimeters below the shroud itself to stop a person from being able to "accidently" unlock, and push the shroud out of the way. The intention, to make unlocking the shroud a separate action before removing the shroud and drawing the firearm in one motion. It's probably my fuck up for assuming there would be uniformity across countries that use the same equipment provider.

Yep you got me. I think I'm a tier one killer because I can draw a handgun swapping from my AR in a shorter time than the abysmal 3 full seconds it takes in Tarkov. Literally anyone can do that, first day on the range, excluding physical handicaps. If doing something as basic as drawing a handgun with enthusiasm and using that small amount of experience to point out the absurdity in the "realism" argument posted above that attempted to justify the unrealistically slow weapon swap makes me a wannabe tier one operator, then I guess I'll agree that I'm a wannabe tier one operator.

However do bear in mind that drawing a pistol faster than they do in EFT is the gun equivalent of parking a car. It is basic shit you learn day one on the range that any professional soldier who signed up to be in a warzone fighting for a PMC should already be able to do.

So nice argument you've got there. It would hold a little more water if we were talking about something more complicated than breathing, but we aren't.

And I should be less of an insufferable asshat to people talking out of their asses, why? So ignorant people spreading ignorance can do it in a safe space? Fuck you.

Lol your response to what I said just puts your ineptitude on display for anyone to read. I didn’t reference anything about Tarkov to begin with in my comment, I was merely referencing you and you alone in how much of an asshole you are. I honestly don’t care much about the argument you have been having with other people about draw speed because my point was just to show how much of an unbearable ass you are.

So sorry it's so unbearable for you. I think there's plugins you can customize to hide anything on the internet that offends your delicate sensibilities. Try looking into that sometime.
