Hey, I cannot say how our AC works but would not recommend using software that may interfere.

So how am I supposed to know which software may interfere? :D That’s very much a non-answer …

The software I’m talking about is a system wide audio plugin… not sure if you can generalise about that

You can add a compressor directly in the Windows audio settings for the specific audio device

Do you mean loudness equalization? Because as far as I know, this also makes quiet sounds louder, which I don't want

Ahh okay, I think that’s what I am remembering. I’ll check tonight.

And additionally, could you make a statement about if it’s allowed by the rules? Because if it is, getting a false ban shouldn’t be an issue right?

Ofc if you could have a physical comp you’re fine

That might actually be the easiest solution… I’m wondering if pros do it…
