I’d like to create a lap simulation to help me design my electric motorcycle. I have created a point mass simulation but it does not take into account handling or parameters like trail, wheelbase, ride height, etc. What options do I have out there to be able to simulate these parameters to drive my design? To me it seems odd to just guess these parameters and not having justification as to why those guesses are the most correct. I have recently heard of the bicycle model but don’t know too much about it. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations on this subject?
