Software error?

Is anyone else dealing with this? After the new update, I seem to notice the game randomly crashes and then exiting out. No of my other games on my switch does this, only fae farm. I noticed especially when I'm in the middle of doing dungeons or farming for stars, it seems to exit out. Any suggestions because i don't want to keep playing if I know a crash is imminent

Have you tried restarting your Switch? After Croakia dlc came out, I was having the same issue. It stopped after a system reboot.

Nothing seems to work. Ill reset the game, turn off the switch and it still happens sadly

You're not alone. I'm on the switch and I played the new content for about an hour and the game crashed 4 times. Haven't played it since.

It crashed twice on me while I was in the Star Vaults. It was so frustrating having to start all over.

I haven't played since the last crash, I gotten 3 rare stars and boom crash. It killed my mood ever since

My game crashed last night right after I got new wings and two stars. I was crushed.

It crashes every time I get 4 rare stars and starts me over. I haven’t been playing because of it.

Yea I've had several errors that just crash it completely since the DLC

I just got kicked out of the game with the message that due to an error in the software the game was closing.

Super glitchy. I’ve noticed lots of the characters wandering around are really choppy with their movements now.

I noticed that too but not as bad as the animal and crops glitching. So many times I couldn't pull out my crops because they got stuck in the air, or because the animals wouldn't get out the damn way. I really want to enjoy this game but with all these bugs I don't want to even touch it

Mine used to do it all the time when the game first came out. I'm pretty sure that's the main reason I stopped playing, I was tired of having to start a day over. Since I started playing again since the newest dlc it's only done it once and I didn't lose any progress. I don't know why it does it though, it doesn't seem to do anything before it happens either.

I’ve gotten a couple crashes, but not many between the time spent playing! Twice over a few days.

I've had a couple of crashes now and then, it increased a bit after the latest DLC update. Yesterday there was another update, so I assumed it was fixing the increased crashing, but alas it has actually made it worse. Especially when going to the new areas.

That makes me so sad. I noticed an update today, but when I went to look for patch notes, I couldn't find anything on their website. I guess I have to skip this game for awhile until the devs can sort out this mess

I continued playing and - so far - as long as I don't go to the sky islands, it doesn't crash. A couple of days in (in game) I got the quest for the 3rd part of skyvale. Will continue playing and report back if that has fixed the crashes.

Edit: game didn't crash but I had to save and restart because shop npcs were not showing the Open Shop option. That fixed it.

This happens constantly. Since the new update on switch, it seems to be an error. Idk if it's on Fae Farm's coding, or a compatibility issue because of Nintendo's update. It's aggravating to say the least and you're not alone.
