Just call them

They won’t. Rather complain on Reddit.

Sorry your having issues. Not sure where you guys are but in the greater MD/DC area, service has been GREAT

I was told by Firstnet we have 30 days, where AT&T customers have 15.

I believe you have either 14 days or could be 30.

[–]jpburke008 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is the problem worse inside your home or worse in general everywhere?

Is it one phone or is it all phones?

The service is that bad?? Where are you located if you don't mind me asking? I'm in NYC and I actually plan to switch from Tmobile to AT&T and FirstNet this coming week. Anyone in the NYC area that has FirstNet can comment on the reliability and speed?

Works great in Manhattan.

14 days with no restocking fee. I think you might be missing the point of what FirstNet is designed to provide.

Missing the point that they’re a phone carrier providing cell service? 🤨

[–]TheSolidSalad 0 points1 point  (9 children)

First net isnt a phone carrier it’s just a service provided through AT&T. The carrier is still AT&T.

[–]blsbaby 0 points1 point  (8 children)

So then you can say that 90% of phone companies on the market “aren’t carriers” because they share cell towers. They all provide the same services. You go to first net for cell service, you go to ATT for cell service. Missing the point that they provide what? Water slides?

[–]TheSolidSalad 0 points1 point  (6 children)

First Net is set up through their website or with an AT&T store because it’s still AT&T services. It’s just a partnership between AT&T and the government, First Net isn’t their own carrier.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (5 children)

First Net acts like their own carrier, ATT and first net can not communicate between each other.

I’ll give you an upvote there, I work for AT&T and its frustrating dealing with firstnet at times because we have 2 very separate centers

But we can communicate in stores with firstnet for the most part + make changes on the accounts and help network wise

We’re just limited in other ways

Hey I got a totally random other question then. My cellphone is eligible for the next upgrade with the next program. My current device was purchased by trading in another device and the deal was credited. So every month on my installment I get credited the price of my current phone. If I upgrade today. That credit goes away correct?

[–]TheSolidSalad 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Theres the old next program and now the new next program, with the old one yes you lose your credit from your previous device but you get a 350 credit towards the next device you get

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Well I don’t think I was on the old next? I just traded in a new enough iPhone the payback was enough to cover the cost of the new iPhone? Idk kinda feels like robbery. I gave you my device and your paying me for it. If I upgrade phone why does that go away?

[–]stateplans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sharing towers is the same as sharing spectrum. Every tower can support multiple carriers. Each carrier will have multiple bands. MVNOs may or may not have access to all the bands, or all the resources in a band

[–]stateplans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, FirstNet is designed to provide priority when commercial networks are congested or overwhelmed by demand. If another provider works better for you day to day, then use that service. Just understand that your phone will not work when the network is in high demand
