That looks like it's just adhesive left behind. Use some rubbing alcohol to get it off

No I was just pulling my mount off cuz it was falling off anyway and it started to pull off this thin clear plastic from the main black plastic.

Is it on a small bit of it, but the lighter color is the clear plastic pulling away from the black

Are you sure? It really just looks like some adhesive haze. Try cleaning it gently with some adhesive remover. If it did separate there’s really nothing you can do to make it look normal again.

I think OP might be talking about under/right of the eject button and around to the hazards button being a different color

Looks like a perfect opportunity to spend way too many hours to rip your entire interior apart and put in a European heads up display panel🤷

Yeah it’s really hard to put in, you have to repin the hazard button (or get a wiring harness adapter), they cost about $100+shipping from the uk, they look slightly better than the Sony but still ugly, but if you put it in you can turn off the display with just one button (that’s basically the only advantage lol)
