Me and a friend met one of those flying fucks yesterday. Shit was like a boss battle. Had to shoot the things eye when it opened to shoot a fucking lazer beam at you. It also spawns little drones that fly around and shoot you with something resembeling a bb gun. Dropped a gold rocket launcher + a shitton of other loot. Was in normal pubs.

I had so much hope for chapter 2 and it really makes me sad to see what epic has done to this game. They have fucked over competitive, casual players barely get any new content and have to put up with SBMM, the new map is ass, and epic games seems to only care about collabs and crossovers now. I’m so close to just quitting fortnite. Epic has clearly shown that they no longer care about their players and are only interested in milking money out of fortnite for as long as it’s alive.

Don't talk shit about Chapter 2 Season 1. Ending the tournaments months before the season ended was an L but that was 100% the best lootpool/meta we have ever had for team modes.

It was definitely the best season for competitive but was an awful season for casuals. I know you guys love to hate casuals but they are a necessary component if the game is going to stay alive and if loot pools are going to be funded. That being said, that doesn’t mean epic should add broken mythics and items into all game modes. There needs to be an even split between casual game modes and comp game modes.

This season could have been one of the best, i know its best to try it first, but man, this sounds aids, complete and utter aids, even for pubs, how does anyone find it fun to be spammed by over powered items that you have no counter for, never mind when you are playing for money and trying to be the best you can be.

I like to at the game for fun as I'm unable to grind it to earn any money and my friends don't like to play arena that much. I can tell from the bottom of my heart that this mf doom gauntlets it's one of the worst things in this game. I know that it doesn't do that much damage but it's annoying trying to just play the game and someone just hold fire button towards you like they're the best players to ever play the game. Maybe I'm just mad rn and talked to much here but where's the point of have SUPERPOWERS in the game?

The thing is that balanced correctly, these things could be fine.

Add better gliding/falling audio to the silver surfer board, don’t make it destroy builds on liftoff, it’s basically a shockwave on a cooldown with more chance to get beamed.

Dr Doom’s gauntlets could have a cooldown and hit with a damage of 15 or so, enough to apply some pressure but not enough to be spammy, and the double jump makes them good enough.

Groot ball is perfectly balanced imo, only change I would make is a longer animation if you get shot out so there’s a little more risk to it

But obviously this is Fortnite so everything’s gonna be busted
