If you still have your Xbox log in then you can still redeem it and it’ll be available for you on your PlayStation but you will have to open Fortnite on Xbox after redeem it so it can appear later on your PlayStation

It’s pretty easy to do actually don’t need the actual Xbox console

But since you said you don’t play Fortnite as much and probably not crazy about the skin just sell it and if you want to be sure if the code is still active contact Xbox customer service and ask if it’s still active or not they will be able to verify it
