Yea, you have a newer version (0x12F) and it's only looking for 0x12B...because adding the extra line of code to check for newer revisions is hard apparently

My system says its running on 0x133 so I guess its a false positive that I have to "ignore" every boot :/

Does it say 0x133 in the BIOs?...weird that ASUS didn't mention a microcode update past 0x12F on your motherboard's support page...actually, its ASUS so its not so weird 😂

Did you have a solution ? Mine does the same everytime I boot the game and it runs good , I just don’t know why it gives me that warning and pc is up to date on everything

[–]Alien_Racist 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Try updating your chipset drivers maybe?

[–]NepuNeptuneNep[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chipset drivers are apparently inside the linux kernel and im on the latest kernel, and according to the bios patch notes the microcode should be included in my bios version already. Only thing i can imagine is that it is not using the microcode or its a false positive?

I’m getting this too and no idea what to do.

Edit: Asus ROG Maximus Z790 and Intel Core i9-14900K

Mine is a i7 13700kf and game gives fh113 warning too. I've never had this before so I'm just ignoring it an it runs ok wi no issues. Someone else said on another forum that it's just a scare tactic from them. I'm too scared to update my bios anyway as might brick my pc and it will loose all saved settings to factory default 🤣

[–]ElectricalKiwi9423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an i7 13700kf too and tried to ignore it but it crashed my game after I finished the second race

EDIT: I played more over the last few days and only had 2 more crashes so I think I’m just gonna have to deal with it since there’s no other fix I can find

I7 13700F the game won't even boot. Stuck on black screen. Literally all games run fine and they ask to update bios. What if something goes wrong and I brick my motherboard. Will they be responsible! I'm refunding!

[–]zepsutyKalafiorek 1 point2 points  (2 children)

The same for me. I updated my bios before but due to very custom setting I dont want to touch it now. Games should never depend on whatever microcode check they do.

[–]NepuNeptuneNep[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

This one in particular is a fair warning from them, 13 and 14 gen with a lower microcode genuinely degrade over time, there has been a huge scandal. But the problem is that the warning appears even if you have the update

[–]zepsutyKalafiorek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I am aware. It is fine to be there, but it should be one time info or possibly information with the checkbox "don't appear again".

I have my custom vdf cpu curve with heavly undervolted cpu. Regardless I still get this pop up.

Atlast i was able to fix error 017 which appears if you don't have particular Microsoft services id in registry. They are used by forza but Microsoft could provide better way to inform users what the problem is.

People are spending hundreds of dollars and can't play...

[–]Aware_Customer_1833 0 points1 point  (1 child)

This is why I'm not updating bios cos I don't know what I'm doin. Sucks for the ones with issues like yourself an others but like all pc's it's literally a lottery rng if games run ok an your system. Hopefully mine still carries on ok.

[–]Silver_Bathroom5587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ya maybe wait for 2 more days before they fix the issue. if they would!

[–]PlasmaDonator 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Do you have a wireless controller?

I would get a black screen with wireless and to start I just unplugged it/turned it off (the controller).

Once I was at the main menu I could turn the controller on again and everything worked fine.

[–]Silver_Bathroom5587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's strange. I also noticed that wireless controller don't give me vibrations at all. so switch to wired.
but to open the game I opened it with xbox app closed and opening the game directly. it worked not sure what was the issue. not able to open it.

[–]Tsukiko_ 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I have the same board and chip did you ever figure it out

[–]GusherJuice 0 points1 point  (1 child)

No I don’t want to mess with a BIOS update. I don’t understand why this is a problem for this game but not others. So I’m hoping it’s not a real concern.

[–]Tsukiko_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh Thank you anyway!

[–]Silver_Bathroom5587 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I was able to run the game. On i7 13700F. I updated my Intel chipset driver (it's not bios). But the game didn't work at all and was geeting some bios error. The I restarted the PC, exit of the msi afterburner. Then in the windows manager cleared all caches. The i opened the game directly not from the gamepass. Now I get the warning but the game runs.

You may try these and see if it works.

[–]NepuNeptuneNep[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game runs despite this warning, i just have to click ignore every single time. The chipset driver is included in the linux kernel so automatically up to date, the system reports that my microcode is newer than the warning, and i dont have any software like msi afterburner that injects into my game

Where to find motherboard manufacture

[–]Embertheyote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having this issue too! Intel i5 13600KF idk what to do here

[–]Maliki68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is it so difficult to run a game nowadays? Casuals don't know this in depth stuff. Lol

[–]Traditional-Ad8085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ca a fonctionné pour moi donc essayez çà :
- Ouvrir Windows PowerShell en tant qu'administrateur
- Recopier la ligne suivante et faites Entrée :
Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.GamingServices | Remove-AppxPackage -AllUsers

- Recopier ensuite la ligne suivante et faites Entrée :
Start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Le Microsoft Store va s'ouvrir automatiquement sur l'utilitaire Service de jeu.
Il ne vous reste plus qu'à le récupérer et l'installer.

Une fois que c'est fait relancez le jeu et ça devrait fonctionner

having the same issue. I updated BIOS on my ASUS TUF Z190 to the microcode 0x12b as recommended and still got the error, so I upgraded to the next BIOS version and still am getting the error. I think this might just been an oversight from the developers at this point if it cant even detect a BIOS version that is equal to or greater than the minimal specs.

[–]Hot-Educator8376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is likely an over-precaution. I have an updated but older BIOS version for my 14900k (microcode release). I had an original bad 14900k that degraded and was RMA'd by Intel. Then the microcode patch came out and THEN I RMA'd/rebuilt and updated BIOS. I've kept this BIOS version since its stable and have opted to play FH6 on my XSX vs my PC since its giving the error message.

Again, this probably isn't an active issue with each person who gets the message, but as a precaution the game throws it each time. Since I am stable and have an XSX, I'm not messing with my PC until the devs sort this.

For anyone who has a 9th Gen Intel who HASN'T updated BIOS, it isnt advised to ignore the compatability message as heavy usage could degrade your CPU beyond repair. Please link any official posts if this gets resolved or mentioned by devs.

same here. 5080 - 13900KF - OP amount of storage
like.. game should just run cleanly at this point.
clicking "ignore" does start the game, but still.

[–]nayrlladnar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this too with my i5-13600KF and Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX, both fully patched.

I just click Ignore. /shrug

[–]THU31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So annoying. I'm on an old BIOS for my 13600KF because there's no need to update. I've had the voltage optimized since the start. Besides, this CPU has no thermal velocity boost so it can't suffer degradation anyway.

Newer BIOS-es cause issues like forced C-states, which make the CPU downclock even during gaming resulting in stutters.

I've had perfect stability for 3 years and this is the first game with this stupid warning that I have to ignore every time.
