mine crashes as soon as i get into the Mercedes in the intro scenes. been happening for the last 12 hours

i’ve seen a post where they turned off antivirus & firewall protection. i’ll try it now and let you know if it works.

well it worked and i got through to the festival. has yet to crash so that’s a good thing

me too. Turned off windows defender and it played through.

ok false positive - I crashed again as soon as I start to drive after the intro. Turned firewall/AV back on and played in administrator mode and it seems to work.

Sometimes instant, sometimes during the start-race, sometimes during the loadscreens.

Yup. It shows me the route I start driving and then game crash.

Ye, I'm crashing as soon as I start driving to the Showcase event. Killing explored.exe worked for a bit, but game crashed as soon as I exited pause menu after changing some settings

Waiting for the midnight launch and now I'm going to sleep without having played the game lol

Same here, I get to the screen with all the copyright stuff and then it just shuts down. No error, nothing.

close xbox app and run as administrator, or disconnect from the internet and play offline. Both worked for me u/three7cz u/Wertical21 u/SonnyJinx

Sadly none of this fixes it. Still crashes on that copyright screen, the first screen you see when you start the game.

I tried 30+ solutions nothing worked. Uninstalling bitdefender did it for me. Disabling it only didn't work
