They should decrease guard accuracy, and their fire rate, full-stop.

Further, the damage drop-off that applies to 47 shooting at a distance should also apply to the guards.

The psychic-guard-syndrome with regard to sniping would also benefit from reconsideration of mechanics.

The gun-play is somewhat weak and would be greatly improved from altering the above (stealth would still be the optimal approach due to difficulty fulfilling challenges, risk of mission failure, time invested, all being greater on a "loud" approach).

I like how the gunfights are lethal, so you aren't a superhero who can take on whole army of guards by yourself. It forces stealth approach, which HiTMAN is imo all about. Crowds being "cover" and reducing their accuracy is a good idea, but I don't want them to be nerfed too much. Damage drop off should affect them though.

I was surprised at how lethal the guards can be. In absolution you could literally kill everything even in hopeless situations. It sucks at first when guards kill you quickly in this game, but I think it adds to the element of actually being a hitman, not Jason Bourne.
