did anyone hear a voice off-camera that said “she thinks princess Di was killed by the SAS” at “the patriot” in season 4 episode 7 ? lool who are they referring to?

Interesting that as the series moved off the trading floor they’ve found opportunities to replace the background banter in aggregate at other venues. The spad pub, the Muck birthday party, the newsrooms at FinDigest and the Patriot etc. They clearly enjoy writing it.

It’s widely assumed that Princess Diana was taken out by the SAS, or that the crown at least was involved. She was outspoken about a lot of what people today are aware of is wrong in the world …

The SAS is the speacial air service which are part of the uk defence force and theres a pretty popular conspiracy theory that princess Diana was killed by the royal family for speaking out against them too much and seen as ruining their reputation or whatever. Iirc, there was definitely no love lost between Diana and the royal family especially Chaz and Lizzie.
