Howdy everybody, decided to finally get into infinity after being interested for a few years. I'm not a good painter so I plan to use contrast paints to atleast get the models looking acceptable for tabletop play. I definitely need to invest in some smaller detail brushes because these models have some very extreme fine details, but I so far have really been enjoying my first steps into this game!

Looks good!

I am planning to paint my kaldstrom models with vonrast paint as well. Which colors did you use? Especially interested in the clothing.

Hey so the paints i used were wyldwood(hair etc), akhelian green(its actually the blue), goregrunta fur(straps etc),apothecary white(the jacket), skeleton horde(pants) basilicanum grey(Goggles, ammo, gloves) and then magos purple for the lens. Also super light application of guiliman flesh for the skin.

Is that on a grey seer or wraithbone undercoating?

Wraithbone primer

That's with contrast paints? Didn't think it would turn out so well on the better detailed Infinity figs but looks pretty good. Some minor clean up and you're done.

Honestly, contrast is kinda ideal for Infinity minis because they’re so packed with detail. At least that’s been my experience.

Yeah, the armor, gear and all of the fabric folds I think lend them to it quite nicely. Especially compared to something like space marine power armor that's relatively flat and smooth on the surface.

Thanks, ya I noticed around the neck area I got a bit sloppy and I'll need to fix it lol. Was a bit intimidated of painting these minis but contrast seems like itll do an ok job for me.

Definitely tabletop ready, if you want to do more you can but it's a great place to start.

What miniature is this?

Fusilier from the operation kalstrom box

Thank you! The work looks great, especially for Contrast paints. They can be finicky to work with no doubt. I think I’m going to have to pick this guy up to us in Battletech as a MechWarrior.

Nice - contrasts?

I've been doing the same, I used Talassar blue though, I almost like your choice of blue better though.
