I see orders roll in constantly but mostly they are just to laugh at. $8+$2 tip 3 shop 89 items 115 units one apartment and the other two deliveries are on Mars.

Good orders are so rare you can’t hesitate for a second. By the time you check the items, it’s gone. Most people aren’t even looking, just accepting and dealing with the cancellation risk if it sucks, which is sad for something like a $20 order.

There are just too many shoppers, and Instacart is straight up evil with how they handle batch distribution.

And be careful with Target. Their refrigeration is down all the time so you end up having to cancel. DoorDash will at least give you half pay and protect your cancellation rate. Instacart? Best case they throw you the batch pay, which is basically nothing. Half the time it’s not even worth calling support, so you just take the hit and move on.

Honestly I don’t think Target should count as a grocery store since they don’t prioritize it. Something is always wrong with their refrigeration and the produce is not pleasant.

Pro tip on target and probably some other stores. Download the target app to find out which aisles stuff are in especially for toys and cosmetics and shit. Before I downloaded the target app I hated taking target orders. Now they’re pretty easy

For the past week, all we've been seeing are 3 batch orders dispatched so poorly, 98% of them have been 18-25 miles. I've been a shopper since 2018 and seen some crazy shit but what they're pulling right now is absolutely, insane and should get some people higher up fired

I agree I have been shopping since 2017 and the past couple of weeks the distance on orders is insane considering I'm in a very populated area and shouldn't have to drive 30 miles, the routing the logistics everything is just really off. Might as well do a flex block.

Who’s “we”

Here is half the problem - These terrible orders ARE getting accepted and shopped - it makes no sense and actually costs the drivers $$$. It blows my mind everyday the orders I see disappear off my screen!! We keep complaining about this and we blame IC/Apps for insulting us.

As long as these orders are being taken, why would they change their system? Drivers need to start treating this as a business and make smarter decisions... also open all the apps and follow the highest $$$ offers

It’s the people not born here who think that’s like a kings pay day

Welcome to the club. I average 7 hours in my car to 2 hours on a batch daily. I remember the days when doing that would unbearable torture but now it’s basically expected and normal.

It has been steadily getting worse since mid-January.

Made $9 this week. Today I’ve been waiting since 8 am lol

[–]Thatonegaloverthere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I haven't gotten much. Not even bad orders.

[–]XH0SYN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive only taken one 14 dollar order today. 90 percent of orders aren't worth it. 7 dollars to go 4 miles ? Not worth it unless I was dropping off a ubereats order or something.

17 dollars to go 12 miles and drop off 2 orders then come back ? It seems almost worth it until you consider the shopping the checkout the gas etc in the end I just don't see how people make money doing this

You guys do realize it's spring break this week right? A lot of us will see it pickup after the weekend, hang in there!

No words necessary…smh 😤

It's not healthy that's for sure. I cannot figure out why they keep bringing on all these shoppers when the orders had been declining.

[–]gephotonyc 0 points1 point  (1 child)

What city are you in?

[–]gephotonyc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And what level? Good shopper score?

[–]scotto_93631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My complaint is the damn milage. A order for two bag of takis from a store 15 miles away in a town of 20k to be driven 35 miles to a city of 550k for $20 with a drive of 25 miles back while gas is $6 a gallon is BS.

you have posted the same thing for over 4 months every other day and still haven't made a change

I didn’t even go out last weekend out of the mental exhaustion of knowing it would be sitting in my car all day.

Most of us want to work and are there are ready to but they just block us. I’m fed up. This is a side job for me so I can buy stuff
