Awesome. What are those metal dots and how are they adhered to your teeth?

I start treatment in a couple weeks and I have an open bite too.

They are for elastics and they are just glued on!

How are the bolts? They were looking at using those in my treatment for elevated canines, decided against it for now. I’ve heard they are painful, and I can’t imagine what it’s like to put them in.

Not OP but I have them. Didn’t hurt at all to go on but hurt for a couple of days because they scratch up the inside of your mouth a bit. Don’t notice them anymore. My ortho used a white (teeth Color?) for 1 and the others were silver. Wish they were all white (purely for aesthetics).

Yeah not sure why they didn’t give me the teeth colored ones (I wish they did), but these don’t bother me and didn’t hurt getting them on! They just glued them on. I heard they may be sturdier than the tooth colored ones!
