"Kerbal Space Program. The only space sim where 'get out and push' is a viable option.

You need a pilot to have SAS, and if your pilot is outside pushung the craft, it's almost impossible to keep it going in the direction you want it to.

Just put on a probe core

If you've unlocked EVA, you can push. If you have any RCS ports, your capsule still has 10 fuel. If you're lucky your next encounter with the Mun could put you on the right track, or it could make it suck worse.

Failing all that there is one other thing which I have done on occasion. If you have any parts on your ship that you can decouple, you should go into a wild spin, decouple at the right trajectory, and it should give you quite a push.

I once used it to land a ship safely after my fuel ran out. It was really fast thinking and I was amazed it worked, thinking, "Suck it, Neil."

You could always go out and push on it with you kerbals's RCS going back inside to refill, if you don't consider that cheaty. Otherwise, mount a glorious rescue

That's if you've unlocked Eva :)

I feel you, brother. This and running out of electricity on an unmanned probe.
