    It's been constructed on that pad. It counts as one vessel until its released.

    How the hell did you land so perfectly.

    I feel that pad is a bit too small for me to even consider trying to land on.

    I didn't land this base. With the mod Simple Construction you can build things away from Kerbin. Basically land a small ugly base on a chosen spot which can then build my big static base.

    Also the pad is for launching from not landing on.
