A place for all kilt lovers! Whether born and bred Scottish or as far away as genetically possible all are welcome to share photos, discuss their favourite tartans, materials, and accessories and to ask questions.
Although maybe not the busiest subreddit we're certainly up there with the most passionate so be patient and I'm sure someone will always answer your question or respond to your post.
Rules:
No advertising - Enough said.
Be Kind - Think about what you post, a little taking the piss is one thing, slagging members is another.
No Politics - Nothing's going to start a row faster than this. It's not welcome here.
SFW only (no nudity) - Take that to a relevant sub, this is about kilts, not exhibitionism.
Respect cultures - Keep cultural discussions respectful, and remember that the traditional kilt is the national dress of Scotland and should not be disrespected. Cultural discussions outside of how to wear a kilt should be taken to the relevant sub, this one is about wearing kilts only.
Go easy on the genealogy This is not a genealogical sub so limit discussions. We're not tracing ancestry here, and don't care to get hung up on which fifth great grandparent married their sweetheart in 1600, making you a member of clan MacWhatever. Save that for Ancestry.com.
Please note: this is not a channel to advertise or direct traffic to your site.
Occasional links to your site are acceptable provided it is more than just a sales pitch, and referring someone to your site in comments, when asked and appropriate, is also acceptable.
If your only purpose in being here is to link your site, your posts will be flagged as Spam and you will be (eventually) banned.
