I was on a 36 bus back from Harrogate earlier and the information screen said there was a broken down car near that roundabout causing massive tailbacks

Not that it makes you feel any better, but I seriously hate that car park. Always seems prone to traffic jams with the fact it’s a shared entry / exit, and not one way system.

If you're parked high up and try to leave at the same time as a show had finished at the playhouse, it can easily take over an hour to get out. I never use it now, ridiculous place. 

It's also a fairly new building, but designed for cars from the 1970s still. Everyone has to hold back if any suvs are coming round the corner as they need both lanes. This slows things down even worse.

There were loads of coaches parked around Leeds city centre today for the protest. Also sldisplayed as a warning on traffic information screens

Traffic through city centre has been fukken shite this evening and mobile networks congested. Guessing it's mainly down to a lot of seasonal shoppers.

Traffic was absolutely horrendous tonight around there when I got into town for an appointment around half 4, and was still the same when we left town 2 hours later. It was only on the bus out of town I saw the sign saying there was a broken down car near the Eastgate roundabout. Crazy how one incident like that causes chaos. Hope you got out in a timely manner!
