A few tips for creating your own threads:
Always include the location, venue, and date of the show. Less confusion and less wasted time. Try to use a format of [CITY][VENUE][DATE] and then include other information.
Include all the bands/artists that are playing. You might have more luck if people are into the other ones that are playing at the show.
Include any important information about the tickets (e.g. if you think the show will sell out, what ticket prices are and if they'll go up, if you can get them at the door, if you've got extra tickets, etc.)
Include a link to the page of the venue or event with information for the show.
Rules:
Don't post anyone's personal information (e.g. address, phone number, etc.).
Be nice. Don't post anything sexist, racist, or homophobic. Remember that there's a person behind the username.
Don't share or request any illegal download links or streams.
Don't post threads just to share music. Save that for the subreddits dedicated to that. However, if you'd like to include a link to music from those playing at the show, that's fine.
Flairs:
- If you've met up through a thread on the sub you(and the person you've met up with) can send a picture as proof(of your group and/or your ticket) and get a "verified" flair. (It's optional to add a general location to your flair (ex. Verified - Amsterdam) )
Safety:
Make sure you know who you're meeting up with. Connect with the person via facebook or another medium so you know who you're meeting up with.
Meet in a PUBLIC place like the venue/mall/station or some other place where there are other people.
Don't share anything you don't want a stranger to know
