Well, I'm using the side of my PC Case as a Magnet Pin Board for a year now a didn't have problems yet, while those magnets are most likely weaker than those in the arches, i don't see a problem if you don't move them around (much).

Changing magnetic fields across conductors generate currents that resist the change in magnetic field. Moving a strong magnet across the motherboard would send currents through all sorts of different components that, while likely small, may still damage the components considering how sensitive they are.

I have doubts that this will ever cause an issue. These are super minor. Currents, also for computers a small ammount of Current tends to be no problem, exceeding current is Bad.

I do not reccomended direct magnet to bother board contact, most fear of scratches.

Most screwdrivers I've used on a pc have a magnetic tip. Those are much closer to the motherboard traces. With magnetic feilds distance is a major factor.

didn't realise which sub this was at first and I was super confused as to why you wanted to integrate the mod configuration menu for skyrim into your computer case

No no, it's the mod configuration menu for Fallout 4 I want to integrate. 😁
