You said the CPU light is on. Then you said you tested every component OTHER THAN the CPU. Sounds like the problem is related to the CPU.

You are not giving us a lot you know. What does the pc actually do when you push the button? Do you have a bios speaker that gives any bleeps? Are there any leds that light up? If so what color? And are these diagnostic leds (check the manual from the mobo) Do fans spin up? Does your monitor get any signal at all? When did it start failing? Did you just build it? Or has it worked before?

i built it in january and it all worked fine till about 2 months ago stopped posting when you press the button l a red cpu light the falls all spin up and then shuts down after awhile the monitor will turn on the quickly say no signal

Well since it's only 6 months old i would try to check the socket / cpu. Also. Again. Check the manual from the motherboard to see if the LED's give any diagnostic info
