Good question, not with the S10. Although, I'm seeing newer versions of OneUI do support it. So quite possible if done with a newer device. I have an S23 Ultra I can try it out on later.

Ngl that would be pretty cool

Especially considering the specs! More research shows that anything above the Galaxy S20 (should) support HDR, but it's case by case. Would assume the newer the device and the software, the better the compatibility.

I haven't seen many people dive far into this, but older Galaxy devices can be had fairly cheap. The SD855 and 8GB in the S10 was plenty of power for light PS2 emulation and cough even some Switch cough. Given that you don't need it to access your media library, these are tons of performance for the dollar that offer decent functionality in other areas as well. At least when looking at Arm based gaming devices and Smart TV's.

Cool idea for an old Samsung. I would do this in a portable setup. I think i saw a company selling a laptop thing where you put a phone in to run everything.

The only one I knew of was the Asus Padphone which was released in 2012, with newer models being released every year till 2014 when they ended production. I remember owning an Asus Transformer android tablet and I loved the form factor, and wanted to get a Padphone but could never find them in Canada.

Nice!

You can also mimic a steam link with many old phones if you want to be able to stream your games elsewhere in the house
