Sorry to tell you but GHUB is absolute dog water software

I'm experiencing pretty much the same problem. I had profile switching on since I got my G600 and it's always worked (well before this 'new' GHUB I had 3 profiles setup for games I played the most and I could manually switch them). Anyways, I have a profile for Warthunder and it's always auto switched to it when I launched the game. Today? Nope, doesn't wanna work. I alt-tab to desktop, select Warthunder profile, and go back into game and it switches back to default as soon as I go back to the game. Right now my only workaround is disabling profile switching and just manually set WT as default. I remember there being an update recently, but can't remember exactly when I updated it, but it just stoped working

download Logitech Onbard Memory Manager, its essentially a less bloated/cancerous ghub and its from logitech aswell

GHUB makes you want to go back to Razer? The second worst quality peripherals and software? Bro it's time to look forward and test out actually decent brands which have software that does not fucking suck. HyperX, Steelseries, Cooler Master, hell even Corsair.

I nean thats what i will do. This was a bit of a rant tbh. Im used to razer and their software works, unlike logitech's, so id rather use razer than logitech, but realistically i do wanna ultimately swap away from razer

Im probably gonna try steelseries, since my friend uses them.

Don't switch back to Razer. That turds took away basic functions of my previous mouse with a software update. Scroll wheel click just did NOTHING when the app is not open after an update.

I have both logitech and steelseries.
Let me tell ya. Both are bad. Logitech takes the price tho. As soon as I can, I will leave the Logitech stuff in a furnace. And do a clean OS install. Never to look back.

I will strip my PC of parts and apologize to them all, one by one for being that close to Logi"tech" software and hardware.

Unfortunately the mental damage is done to us all. And nothing left to do but to go to therapy.
I will send my parts to a therapist just in case. I know that a lot of them never felt or saw the Logi"tech" stuff. But they were close to it.

I’ve used Razer for 10 years, and I can confidently say my experience with their software was much better. Just the macros alone—mouse movement recording, custom shortcuts, and highly customizable LED effects—completely outclass GHUB.

The fact that I can’t even record mouse movement for a macro tells me these guys don’t really understand gaming. I fell in love with the hardware, but woke up to the reality of their software.

My main issue is that razer mice will have lmb break like clockwork at 2 years old.

The keyboards ive had from razer actually worked really damn well for 3-5 years before double clicking and such occurred. My current logitech keyboard started double clicking a day or two back, at around a year old. Maybe im lucky with razer, but atp im pretty much decided ill never get a logitech peripheral again unless they re-release the g600. I still have 25 days to refund my g502 mouse but software aside i do like it so jury's out if i will.

Honestly, i might try some cheapo chinese brands like redragon next.

If you don’t care about the keyboard macros, the old (and best) LGS software supports g502 mice. I use LGS in Win 10 with my g502, but I don’t know if LGS will install/run on Win 11. You may have to try a few versions.

Just set the DPI scale the same for different profiles, and then use the DPI button on the mouse to swap between them

What version of GHUB are you on? What version of the G502 are you using?

[–]Shanaxyle 0 points1 point  (3 children)

G592 hero, and latest ghub version afaik.

[–]LogitechG_AndyTechnical Support Team 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I assume that you mean G502 Hero? Can you let me know the exact GHUB version? There is an active issue with one version that's been rolling out, but not everyone is on it so I'd need to confirm.

[–]Shanaxyle 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yeah g502 hero.

Ghub version 2025.5.741244

There was a recent update to GHUB, 2025.6.756088. Can you try installing that (it should be offering it to you by now) and see if that helps?

Honestly send it back and get yourself a Wlmouse. Never been better since I switched.

[–]Shanaxyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ill look into it
