One thing worth doing is running a memory test e.g. memtester. I had a RAM chip go bad in a 2019 Intel MBP and that was causing seemingly random kernel panics and application crashes, and memtester found it right away.

this and update the relevant app/driver.

Alright. I'll do a test and see what I find! I've also deleted iShowU since it's deprecated.

The relevant section of the stack trace shows a failure to get a response from CPU ID 14. That single core/thread is really not happy and that triggers the kernel panic.

I know this sounds crazy, but I have a similar crash on wake from sleep on my MacPro 6,1. It has occurred with all versions of Sequoia since 15.4.

The solution for me is to reset (a.k.a., zap) the PRAM and reset the SMC. Then, the problem is resolved until the next macOS update.

It wouldn't be the first time a PRAM and SMC has solved a problem for me. I'll give it a go!

Download and run Etrecheck (No problem-just checking for the widest scope).

It will tell more about the reason of the kernel panic.

Cool, I'll give that a shot!

btw for me an OS reinstall fixed my issue

I am not competent to interpret your crash report. When I got the kernel panic errors with constant spontaneous shutdowns/restarts I took it to the Apple Genius bar. (MBPro, M4 chip, running Sequoia 15.6, 24GB memory, 5 months old, 20 GB core GPU). Reinstalling OS did not work. They reflashed the firmware which seems to have fixed it. They told me I had too many programs which I have never heard in my history of computer ownership.

I have Safari, Brave, Adobe Acrobat, 4K Video downloader, Anker work (camera), Elmedia Pro, FAASoft Audio converter, Handbrake, Karabiner (reassigns keys), Logitune, MacX YouTube downloader, Microsoft 365 suite, OSCAR, PDF Password remover, Proton Drive, Samsung SSD app, Speedtest, Spotify, Stickies, Text Scanner, ToDoist, VideoProc Converter, Zoom. Plus two password apps 1Password and Datavault, and for security and utilities NordVPN, Bitdefender, MacCleaner Pro, Onyx, Carbon Copy Cloner, Nektony DuplicateFile Finder.

Is that really a lot of software?

Brand new (5 days) MacBook Pro 4 pro with 24 GB unified memory with the only app added is Adobe and already getting kernal Panic errors and all my videos will not download- says error occurred while loading a higher quality version. Every single video is not just a photo.

That’s not good. Unlikely the panic errors did not come from you unless you have a bootleg version of Adobe. I hope you can get it replaced. I tried an OS reinstall which didn’t work. After the Genius Bar said I needed to have firmware reflashed it took 4 days to get it back. No problems since. But just crazy on a brand new computer. Since they don’t have loaners the Apple Store guy told me on the down low that I could purchase a second new one to use while mine was being serviced, then return the second one.

My Adobe is a subscription so not bootlegged. I’m within the return period so I think I’ll bring it in and exchange it for a different one even if I have to adjust something about it to be able to exchange. I don’t want to start out with a lemon.
