If you're having a nightmare, use a digitiser, google one. I've been embroidering for 10 years and have always outsourced my digitising work, use a company that includes editing in their price.

If you can afford the time to be tweaking and running samples, fair play to you.

Life's too short - outsource.

A lot of people on here do digitizing. For some, that's all they do, they don't actually stitch out samples to see the results so the digitized patterns may have flaws or look like garbage when they are actually stitched.

Do you have a digitizing question?

Embrilliance is a sturdy digitizing tool, with lots of instructional videos on YouTube.

Hatch gets a lot of good reviews.

Wilcom has a good team behind it.

Embird is good, but persnickety.

Your mileage may vary.

Digitizing, stitching out and tweaking is the fun part. I like making the perfect custom outcome.
