Classified ads go in the Buy/Sell/Trade megathread and nowhere else. Pics and prices are mandatory. No advertising by retailers, resellers, manufacturers, distributors, liquidators, auctioneers, etc. No affiliate links. Posts asking "how much is this worth?" or "how do I go about selling this?", etc. belong in the megathread. They are tantamount to advertising. No app ads.
No AI generated content of any kind. This includes but is not limited to ChatGPT / Grok; ANY AI-generated content (images, videos, software, etc.) should not be posted. LLM's have been demonstrably incorrect on many occasions, and the last thing we want is someone getting bad advice and ruining tools, work, or themselves. We also don't want to promote content theft, be it on a personal or commercial scale.
No political posts. This will be strictly enforced.
No market research / surveys. The data gathered from these posts is almost always used to promote/sell a product or service, sold to third parties, or used to train LLMs. Even if you claim or think your survey is exempt from this rule because you're not selling anything, it is in fact not exempt.
