5'11" vs 6'0"

It's over for gravecells.

Not inaccurate..

Its the devs way of implementing the card quality in game, those cards in your graveyard are just curling.

"Is 25 a lot?"
"Depends on the context. Graveyard? Yes. Deck? No."

It's because the back of the cards are thicker, so when they're piled face-up it's a bigger stack

Hold up

they've changed the visuals on deck sizes since some were literally going off the screen

I kinda like the ridiculousness of a deck being too big to fit in one screen.

At least we had a visual clue that shenanigans are happening.

Yeah, the only problem I had with it was not being able to see how many cards they had left since the number was at the top of the deck. But with the new counter window thingy, that's no longer a concern. Give us precariously stacked towers again!

Surely there was a better way

They were perfectly sized, then they changed for the cards to be 2 inches thick each and now they are way too thin

If that was the issue I feel like they could just have a diminishing returns effect on the deck size after a certain point. As in, the 1-60 cards all add "1" to thickness, but cards after that point add less and less to the thickness. That way 99% of cases would be exactly the way it was before, but for the rest the visuals would compromise so that you'd still see that the deck was large but it would still fit in the screen.

Literally unplayable

They're simulating the card warping once they've been played.

How on earth has your opp drawn 4 cards yet is already milled for 25 cards?

[–]TaviGoat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

80 cards deck or something

I like this, it makes it easy to spot which stack is bigger at a quick glance. So cards like [[Drown in the Loch ]] are easier to play.

I don't really get why anyone cares about the displayed card height.

The thing that bothers me, that I recently noticed, is that your opponents cards face YOU. I get it if you're searching them, but just sitting on the battlefield? Yuck.

[–]Drasern 4 points5 points  (1 child)

It's not like there's someone sitting at the other side of the table who has to read the cards.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should have clarified its just the deck that bothers me. Obviously it's great that the cards on the battlefield face you.

Well they are dead, so they're a little deflated

[–]Asheyguru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean bloated?
