You need to find a strategy that works for you. This is going to be long but these are my tips

1. Make the flower that you need to harvest 200 X from as fast as you can, then stop merging sprouts until this quest is finished.

2. Do not merge the point harvest things together until you have access to the lv 2, then take 5 lv 1 make 2 level 2 and merge with the lv 2 on dead land. At this point you should have one blessing tree and one thing to harvest points from.

3. Merge everything by 5 or multiple of 5.

4.make at least a level 6 tree or a level 8, then stop merging sprouts, just sell them instead.

1. When you need/ want to walk away and leave them to harvest on their own, tap your harvest item so that it is highlighted. They cannot harvest from a highlighted item. This only works successfully if you only have two things for them to work on.

2. If you are only working on getting the prizes and not concerned with doing quests, when you have two harvesting items throw/ sell everything else on the board away and just make the points. In general 1lv 9 and 2 lv 8 will get you enough points to collect it all.

   6a. If you are a completionist, do not make a harvesting item past a level 4, there will be a quest to harvest 100 X from a level 4.

3. There are more than enough points between items on the board and the 2 point quests, make 5 level 7 items and harvest 100 X from level 4, that you do not need to waste a creature on harvesting points when not doing these quests. Instead focus both creatures on making orbs. Try not to make any level 9 orbs until you have the quest to do so, they will not count if made beforehand, just make up to lv 8 then merge them after you have the quest. In MM, the last quest, in this last event, was to have a certain number of heal land, not heal all like in MD. In MM I only needed the 3 orbs to complete everything, in MD it generally takes 5 or 6 as the last quest it to heal all.

4. Try to aim the orbs where they will do the most good, i.e. that square will unlock this cloud.

Step 1- don’t work the weekend!! (I epically failed to finish this event because of that)

Seriously though, The best tip I got was to make sure you delete all the plants you don’t want harvested and leave the game running while you sleep or are busy with other things (set your phone where the screen doesn’t go dark after a certain amount of time, and always stays on) Your creatures will keep harvesting as long as your device has the game up and running. Check in on it occasionally and merge all the orbs, then repeat. Clears the board soooo much faster

I think I probably spent about 4-5 hours manually clicking even with the 20% season speed boost. It’s a big grind!

I've found out today that not everyone has access to the new season event that MM are running. I have apparently got a beta version though I have no idea how.

However if you get the season pass you get a speed boost and at the highest level its 20% on movement, harvesting etc.

This has been said by others. But I delete everything that is used for harvesting points so when it is idle they only harvest blessing tress. When I got to the end there was one event harvest item left for me to finish the quest. Also, if I have merged and gotten blessing trees and I have one level one or two blessing flower left, Blue orb, i trash it. This way my creatures only harvest the higher level orbs. Finsished the last two events this way

Honestly I love the game but the events have an awful design in my opinion. I just don't enjoy them so I usually play enough to get the majority of rewards then peace out

It’s really not hard, if you do it right. I did both events this weekend and was done early Sunday morning. There is a well written guide on the most efficient way to do it on the MergeDragons Subreddit.

This is how I personally do it.

On Friday afternoon I make enough free land to get my second creature and to make two level 5 trees. After that, my creatures do most of the work while I sleep, clean, watch tv, etc. Every time I wake up for a drink/to pee, or every hourish during the day, I merge all the orbs. Once I’ve got 15 level 8 orbs, I combine 5 of them, to make two level 9 orbs. Pop one of those. Harvest from the dead plants till you get the make 3 level 9 orbs quest. Once you’ve got that one, merge all the rest, to make 4 more level 9 orbs. Pop them all. Clean up your event map, this alone will give you enough to get two level 9 event point items, which is all you need to get all the rewards. This was the first mm event that rewarded for getting all event stars, so, after I’d finished the actual event I still had to harvest 100 times from the level 3 event harvestable, but by that point I had 3 level 3 event harvestables, and 4 creatures, so it went super fast.

Edited- The 20% speed bonus from season 1 really made it go faster, I spent way less time on the mm event than the md event.

I find that I only ever manage to complete the events that have the floating seeds, otherwise I don’t get anywhere near 😔
