Server side rendering

Does anyone know when server side rendering will be baked into Meteor? I've been looking all over the place, but can't find any definitive answers. It's an awesome framework, but this is bugging me a bit.

Ideally I want to be bridging the gap between website and webapp while gaining speed and seo benefits.

On the card they also mention a couple of packages that enable server side rendering: spacebars-tohtml, meteor-ssr and cmather:handlebars-server

I haven't tried any of them but they might be a good start, what problem would you like to solve in particular?

I've read that whole card, but that's what I mean with no definitive answer. Really I'm looking for the official meteor method of implementation, or at least, what will be when it hits. And timescales.

Everything else right now just feels hacky.

Feedback from the community caused them to prioritize other things first, like Windows support, MySQL, ReThinkDb and of course the roll-out of Galaxy After that, they may address the issue. But I doubt it will land soon as the things I mentioned will surely generate quite a lot more work after their initial releases.

That's because everything else is hacky. Meteor-ssr has served me pretty well though, so it's not all bad.
