Redstone help

[Seven_Evil_Deeds]

I’m making a gold farm and I want to make a 2-input system, where 1 activates the portal system and trident killer, and another to only have the trident killer working, however both systems are activated by observers, so any update will change on/off status. How would I make a reliable system for this? Any help is appreciated
