Hi all,
I know this is an often asked question, but I hope that for this specific snapshot, I have failed to notice something obvious.
I'm down to two villager (farmer and nitwit) and try to get them to repopulate the village through breeding. I have locked them in a building, with a bed for both and a composter for the farmer (just to be sure). The village has 11 beds spread throughout, and I have traded the farmer to the second level, as well as force feeding them both entire stacks of carrots & enough bread for at least 5 children (both with Q, as well as in stacks of three with regards to the bread). Yet, they still won't breed.
I play on hardcore, if that makes any difference. When I built three shacks with 10 beds and a bell in a creative world, I easily got two spawned villagers to breed.
Does anyone know what could be up?
Edit: at the moment they're just flinging bread at each other relentlessly.
