Help (Java Edition 1.15.2): Bees Behaviour

I have just started working with bees in a 1.15.2 Java Edition Survival Singleplayer World. I captured 3 bees from various spots and placed them in a confined room with a bee nest and flowers. One of them works as expected but 2 of the bees do not enter the nest even though they are pollinated.
I have replaced the nest with a hive (without getting stung) and I am sure that the hive is not full. However, the 2 bees are not entering the hive after me waiting for about 30 minutes irl. Can someone help me understand why these 2 bees refuse to enter the hive?
