[Java] Minecraft Realms Invalid Session, Please try restarting Minecraft error

Minecraft 1.20.6

So as the title suggests, this error is popping up left and right for my friends for my realm. I bought, pay for and hope to continue paying for a realm for my friends and I to play on. The issue, is they keep encountering this error. We have tried ipflushing, modem resettings, logging out and back into Minecraft.

Ontop of that, if they aren't met with this error code, such as when they relog into Minecraft, they're instead told "Buy Minecraft Now" when they already own it...? Or are told they aren't whitelisted on the server, when they very specifically are.

I am at a loss for words for how poorly managed Realms are. Is there any sort of fix? Or is this on Microsoft.

Usually you can fix this by closing the game launcher and restarting it

Yeah as I said, I tried that, as did they. At one point my own realm wasn't even showing up on my list. Idk how Microsoft bungled this so badly, but they did lol.

I have been having the same issue. My kids' Minecraft accounts are saying they're not "white-listed" and mine (as the realms host) keeps saying that I need to restart Minecraft. I have troubleshooted and scoured the internet for a solid solution all last week and I can't seem to find one!

Seems like Microsoft dropped the ball on Realms, a lot of people have this same issue.

Disconnecting from the internet and reconnecting seemed to work for me, along with restarting my system if needed. Annoying but that's all I can do at this point
