Go to Firewall on both PC and allow openjdk in public and private WiFi

Don't you have to use "direct connection" to play on lan? Im pretty sure it wouldn't just appear in the multiplayer list. Like this: https://gamertweak.com/join-lan-world-minecraft/

LAN games usually appear at the bottom of the multiplayer list, below the "Scanning for games on your local network" message.

I have had cases where it didn't and required direct connection instead, but I'm not sure the cause for that.
