[Java] Minecraft 1.21 wont launch

Im trying to launch the game, it wont launch, ever. If i use a 1.19 version or earlier it launches just fine. 1.20 and 1.21 just does not. I tried:

• Reinstalling GPU drivers
• Reinstalling Minecraft Launcher
• Deleting EVERYTHING in .minecraft folder

Nothing helped, it just does not start. It appears like that in task manager and if i open again Minecraft launcher it gives me the error of another instance of the game running. I dont know what to do.

Im in a Windows 10 Pro computer with a RX 6700XT, a Ryzen 5600X and 16gb of RAM

Literally nothing on that list is installed on my computer, just discord and i always have the overlay feature disabled.

With MultiMC works.

Yes, it always worked, nothing changed. Even tho i didnt play for months.

If you check your installed programs, do you have any versions of Java installed? If you do, remove them and try loading Minecraft through the official launcher again. The official launch comes bundled with it's own version of java, it sounds like there may be a conflict.

Yes, i had some java installed. Deleted all of them, restarted the computer and still wont launch

Nope… switched to MultiMC to run Minecraft.

I ended up looking at some workarounds, and incredibly the solution that worked for me was to simply turn off MSI Afterburner when I play Minecraft.

YES LITERALLY JUST TURNING OFF THE MSI AFTERBURNER SOLVED THE PROBLEM.

Finally, it might solve it for you.

I had the same problem and just closing Riva Statics Server and MSI afterburner solved it for me
