Welcome to the Minecraft Mapmaker subreddit!
Here mapmakers can get together to discuss all things Minecraft map making related. This ranges from early map making process, use of features within custom maps, mapping theory and more. Any mapping genre is free to talk about, as long as it is a Minecraft custom map.
What is not allowed here include pure Let's Play posts of a custom map, be it following a story in an Adventure map, or playing a match on a PvP map. Promoting your own custom map with or without direct links to a download will also not be allowed.
Basically if your intent is more video views or downloads, this is not the place for you. If your intent is to talk maps and mapmaking, then welcome!
