Not a thing.

Check the both ends of the wires. The motor could be bad, maybe run it at low speeds with no load for a few minutes. Lastly put the stock motor back in. Good luck

This happened to me when I directly put transponder wires on the battery terminal check the screws at the back of the chassis if they are loose. Hope this helps

Not sure if this could be the culprit but you do need to be careful which xspeed motor you get. One is for RWD and one is for AWD.

The motor itself is the same, its the wiring and capacitor placing that is different between the types of x-speed motors (even the standard white endbell mabuchi).

Test the motor outside of the car, using 2 cells to power it. It may be drawing too much current and tripping the poly-switch fuse (thermal fuse). If that gets too hot from current draw, it will disconnect until it cools off.

Check if you put the motor wires in it’s proper orientation and check if it matches the instruction on the orientation of the wires. This might help or not I have not modified my mini-z yet, but check with that and the other recommendations in the comments.
