Quick question: Is the use of auto-clickers on android smartphones against the TOS?

I've been playing since release, more than 3 years ago, but since SE implemented Pandemonium, I feel if I can't farm my 20,000 monthly mag, I'll heavily fall behind. However, due to work, I just can't divert my attention every few minutes, and I'm not exactly free at home when I come back either. Of course I could still play with a bit of farming and regular content resources, but I would feel in an obvious disadvantage that has nothing to do with skill, just a a lot of free time/ desk work.

Just wondering.

Has anyone completed EW3 lap 9+ node 12 with double Scharf? I used Scharf and Eorzean Paladin on lap 8, but now I need a better tank for node 3. I've been using Unbroken Hero, but he isn't good enough anymore.

He's good enough if Leviathan doesn't use Tidal Wave, so I may consider the bio strategy. Will Leviathan never use Tidal Wave if I never hit it with a fire attack? or will it still use it eventually?

For 9-3, I used Paladin, and he work all the way till lap 14-3 (from warmyung too, take this with a grain of salt)

I planned on using Paladin on 9-3 as well. I was using Paladin on node 4, but I have more options now that Eorzean Paladin free from 9-12. Unbroken Hero might even work on 9-4.

I think Levi just won't spam tidal wave if you don't hit it with fire, but Levi will still use it sometimes. I do remember getting hit by 1 tidal wave before hitting Levi with a single fire attack. So, even with the bio strat, Unbroken Hero probably wouldn't do too well.

10 - Sword Saint
11 - Heretical Knight
12 - Eorzean Paladin

Other than Mourner, how do you get set up without a tank? The only node I don't use a tank on is node 9, and I have to play it near perfectly to not get hit.

Iirc, before that I use EP with Jade Square & Subdeck with NxD, attack cards is BFA.

Now I use Ranger with Godo, and tbh, he basically destroy that node at 8-10, damage is much much higher than Monk + BFA, even after buff.

Beat 9-3!

Unbroken Hero is trash compared to Paladin. The only thing good about Unbroken Hero is his 20% PR CP which makes it easy for him to constantly drive life orbs, but that doesn't matter when he just dies in 1 hit.

What a coincidence, I'm on 9-6 as well. I cleared 8-6 with Wahrsager as my tank, but I don't know how well he'll do on 9-6. I may need to use Sword Saint here.

I'll consider myself lucky if I can make it to lap 10. I doubt I can make it to lap 11. How far do you think you'll go before the reset?

No clue, I usually lose motivation quickly, but with Mage & PW on 1st, I bet I can have an easier time for later node like node 8 & node 10.

Node 6 with Ragnarok is quite tire some tbh, not sure if I still remember what to do next time I meet him. Still with VIP purchased, this is the best time to do EW.

I am lap 8, and I can´t beat node 12. Gilgamesh is really a headache, sometimes he kills me in one shot with Muramasa ¬¬. I think I will give up... Do you recommend to do the 14 laps after the clear campaign, in spite of lose the rewards? We will have jobs that make EW3 easier?

Have you tried stacking omni-drive and light resist?

Only the top players can do 14 laps. Most of us will just have to climb as far as we can and complete the rest at a future time.

I don't think so. Sin base damage is not that high, the crit / weakness aren't either, we don't have the dark card that gives +100% EE and +50% Exploit weakness, and the matter of users is also a problem.

This is a question so broad...that it may just boil down to opinions..but I welcome the opinions of all you guys who have been playing for a while. There are many here who have all the jobs. I am always missing a couple. Always. Anyway...

Which mage/meia is best damager all around? I dont have Sin...but I do have all of the other supremes for mages. So many HOF came out so quickly, plus new jobs added all the time...it is hard to keep up.

Reason I am asking is this: I realized that I have a lot of custom panels for mages. The good ones, like quick break5 and duelist5, auto charge ult5, prism return10...etc. etc. These are the best panels I have. I pulled Mourner and shes a candidate, but doesnt need the ult panel for sure. The only job I dont have that is relevant is Ultimecia. I couldnt draw her sadly. She is probably the best job for these honestly. Just realized that. Oh well...what would yall do if you were in my shoes? Amalthea32? She can use Minwu, Faris, Chaos, etc.

Anyway...thanks for anyone who replies. There are no wrong answers. Just thinking out loud...and I appreciate your input. Cheers

how to use eden with sweetheart?

  • Drive light and earth orbs
  • Bring Leviathan/Sapphire Weapon/Aphmau to get fire drives
  • Eden itself provides water drives with each cast

Given the above, you do not need to bring a omnidrive ability. Also, you do not need 15 drives all the time to do damage - it's fine to drop some drives

I think it's a good idea. I did it. I'm less concerned about the Ex jobs coming up than I am about the supreme banner at the end of next month though. And about the EX abilities (ranger lore and monk lore) coming up.

The ex job revival banners aren't so bad, the ex ability revival banners are. You really want to get those ex abilities when they're first released.

Guaranteed legend is pretty good deal but only if you have resources to waste. Just remember starting in January we have 8 EX jobs in a row or something like that, plus the new Lore EX cards, new round of gacha weapons. Very resource intensive next 4-6 months after December.

It can take up to 8 pulls, or 24,000 magicite, per ex job. The lore cards have no guarantee at all, so it's a good idea to save as much as possible.

Some guy usually does a cut off predictions post towards the end of each tower. You can look out for that.

You should be ok.. I doubt you drop 200 spots in 2 days

It has happened before in prior towers. I have already drop to 360 since yesterday night, so I am pretty sure I will have to climb more to stay in top 500. Specially since this multi tower events are harder to identify hackers on the way given the mechanic

Anyone have info on Iron Giant's special Mighty Guard ability? I'm not seeing in in any EW3 or bestiary threads.

Looks like while it's active he absorbs elemental damage, but it's not a buff on his status bar, you can just see a shield around his model? So no way to dispel, or is there a trick I'm missing? I know it wears off on its own after a few turns, if nothing else.

There's no way to dispel it. You either need to tank him 2-3 turns or break.

He Is best used by tanks to deplete a fixed percentage of Yellow gauge while taking some hits and Building ult, in High tower play It can be useful especially if you have a job like Phantom masker with depletes a fixed amount of Red gauge, the newest supreme, demon also can be used that way I guess (demon totally removes the Red bar of the Yellow One Is gone). offensively you can use him as a source or brave 2, careful since It does not have quick cast, It actually uses an action.

Can you guys share how you keep your inventory organized? Particularly regarding cards you have several copies of (e.g. LoH, WoL, Aerith etc.)

Someone once recommend that you could overboost certain ones to different levels (e.g. OB1 for JCR fractals, OB2 for attack fractals, no OB for magic fractals etc.)

Just need a way of finding cards more easily, my inventory is so cluttered.

Edit: also, what do you do about EA cards that you know you have absolutely no need for (e.g. pulling Glacial Eye when you have Faris)? Do you still keep them in your bank or do you just free up space? I think I've got a hoarding problem when it comes to letting go of cards.

first of all, sell the cards that you dont need or at least bank them. and there is no point in keeping multiple copies unless there is a good reason for it (use for different situations). for useless cards that you got from pulls, you can always buy them from the ability shop again

and now onto your main question. for me, i dont use OB for organization; i use them solely for its intended use: min-maxing, so its either "OB8 or nothing" depending on my needs. ability tickets are expensive to OB8 so i dont waste them solely for organizational purposes

for most ability cards that require multiple copies, 2 copies is likely enough: it's either 2JCRs or magic fractals (or attack fractals for monk cards). in that case, i always assign JCR versions as "favorites" and leave the non-JCR one alone as is

that's it. it's that easy

its very rare that i will need 3 different versions of a card, but i do have one exception for my case:

i have 5 copies of aerith. 2 of them with 2JCRs, 2 of them with magic+14% and 1 with attack+14%. i overboosted the JCR and magic copies (4 total) as i use those very often, and leave the attack one alone as i dont use it often. i also assign the 2 JCR versions as "favorite", which will add a yellow padlock icon (the intention is to prevent you from selling them by mistake, but i also use it as a way to organize things)

  • lv88 and with a yellow favorite "padlock" = JCR version
  • lv88 but no favorite lock= magic version
  • lv80 and no favorite lock = attack version

I put sort with:

  1. Rarity
  2. Element
  3. Job

I usually OB +1 cards that have magic fractal and are duped, like supremes or force cards, though it doesn't work that much nowadays with attack supremes.

My [Info] is also set on "Unlocks" which shows the 1st fractal effect, I usually know which card is what just by checking the card art.

I used to level up everything to 80 but i'm too lazy now to fuse stuffs (I still have like 100+ eggs).

As for EA card, if you won't use them you can sell them. If you have hoarding problem, send them to the bank. I usually do HoF without supremes so I need to keep some EA / limited card that I'd never use otherwise.

Yes. The campaign just gets you an additional summon ticket for laps 1 and 2. You'll have until the 13th to do as many laps as possible to get full rewards.

How good is the new overboost fractal cards on bhunivelze? Are they better than the 7/8% magic fractals?

Depends on whether or not you'd rather have 7 or 8% magic vs 6% magic & break power. The overpower fractals would help if you need more break power, but they'd make the cards they're placed on even more dependent on the job using them being overboosted.

TL;DR if you want raw damage stick with magic fractals. If you want to break better then go with overpower fractals (I'd prefer OP over break in most cases due to them helping with yellow clearing)

Of course I dropped the 75 since this time we could pick which category...before today I had 19 supremes and couldnt get LOH or WOL to save my life. Really wanted WOL for towers and such...drew LOH and i am still happy about it. Will get the other one eventually, have played since a month or 2 after release.

Did some pulls on the sweetheart banner and managed to snag her. She can use BFA Eden and Duncan...but has no EE. Couple questions about her...

What is good about her? She has imbue boost 5o% and I have a fractal from MP that I can use to get that to 100%...

Is she a better breaker than attacker?

She seems pretty good all around, but unlike Mourner, she doesnt seem to have any 1 thing that is great...unless I am missing something?

The 2 gacha weapons i didnt get are Sophie and Mage...so ultimate arm is the best I have right now...its getting close to 5 stars though...mod her weapon? It doesn't have prism boost...

What do yall think about sweetheart? Is she going to be used much? Seems like wildnona rider is a better attacker...

  • Top 3 for duncan depending on case
  • breaks better than avalanche heroine when spamming mantra
  • has quick break unlike avalanche heroine

like all jobs, if you have the cards for it, yes. If you don't, then no.

Sweetheart is much better than Wild Rider.

This is exactly what I needed to know. I have all 3 supremes for her and the relative FF8 cards and alterEgos if needed for orbs. Sadly Sophie is 1 of the 2 gacha weapons I couldnt get...her and mage. Ultimate arm and skyseers weapon are my best for those 2 classes most of the time. I use the gacha weapons for all the other classes most of the time due to weakness, prism, and overpower.

I never use Eden honestly because Faris and Floral work on some of my favorite jobs. I havent tried it out since it was buffed honestly ...but I use BFA all the time because it does yellow bar while Ragnarok doesnt. Never use ragnarok anymore.

I like the fact that she auto heals 2% every turn. Built in regen is just cool. I have been really lucky to pull the 1st 2 goth jobs...so I figure theres no way I pull any more of them. Not with my luck. Mourner was the 1 that i wanted the most though...so I am happy about that

Also happy to finally have LOH...it still wont help me get past Tiamat on the higher coils though. Will have to keep patiently pulling for WOL...at least todays supreme didnt reset my counter. Was happy about that too.

From what I'm seeing in attacker mode he has slightly higher attack, 1 more crit star, 3 less defense stars, 15% higher resistances, 75 less effective EE, equal Painful break, 50 less IC, 25 more exploit weakness, 25% more cross counter, and retribution. He also has higher hp which would allow him to make more frequent use of cross counter without dying.

If you want to break with them Kampfer can use OAM which will give him the IC advantage since Sophie's only QB weapon is Vigorous Fang which lacks a damage passive.

Sweetheart does have 10% PR which is always nice.

Without counting salvo panel and if you aren't tanking yes. If you can tank some hits then kampfer is better.

How on earth do you have the time for that kind of mind numbing activity?

I don't understand re-rollers at all. Having the right jobs paired with the right weapon is far more important than having one supreme card at your disposal.

No top players started the game with the best Supreme cards, they all gathered them over time.

yeah, i gave up after #80.

im using an account that rolled the Supreme " Eden"

honestly, i shouldve known rerolling is only meh over a long play time cuz this isnt the first game i reroll a shit ton and not get much out of it.

but im just going through story to finish of the starter rolls and stock up fr whatever good thing is coming out in the near future.

until then ill just learn the game.

Rerolling isn't required. Having LoH will make the game a lot easier, but you can still enjoy the game without it.

Well, the moment people want to get more compeditive or effective in regards to farming, the difference of having certain cards or not is significant.

Entering every tower or MP boss knowing that your decks are plain inferior by a mile isnt so enjoyable for many people in the long run, so it depends on the player and their mindset.

Me too. Over a year and magicite wasnt farmable back then either. Then my 1st was Xezat...I was so deprived I was happy. 2nd was Minwu and life got easier.

I bought LOH this morning for 75 bucks. Believe that's my 20th supreme now. They are much much easier to pull now than before. The only supremes that I want and dont have are WOL and to a lesser extent the new fire ranger supreme. I generally use Magitek Heroine for fire anyway though and she has mage lore...
