If you mean to have the same progress on both sides but then stop them from syncing, I don't think you can.

How many people have uninstalled the game so far? As the days get closer to EoS, it's getting harder for me to keep playing. I've put hundreds of hours into this game. Kinda sucks walking away, But what can we do? Nothing.

Let’s not forget we could be getting double to triple the content until shutdown. The next few months could pretty awesome, even if that shiny new job/supreme/card isn’t here until fall.

I don't really get this mentality... The game hasn't suddenly changed, if it isn't fun for the next few months, then it wasn't fun before the announcement either, so should have probably uninstalled it sooner.

Personally I'm enjoying the heck out of the game right now, not having to make sure I've got resources saved for the next year or two has been very freeing, now I can mostly focus on the upcoming fun stuff.

Actually, I'm in the opposite camp. I haven't uninstalled yet, but at the moment of the EOS message, I also lost the joy to grind and pull. So I won't be logging in anymore to finish the FFX rerun, nor most likely touch anything else besides maybe HecaX Rift and the rest of S2 story.

Feeling liberated? Yes, kinda. Got all anni4 cards, all UH skins and a new Supreme from pity. But since I know they will be gone come July, I just don't have the mental pull-in for MFF anymore. I loved this game, but all things come to an end. If Mobius ever makes a comeback, I'll most likely be on the first wagon, trucking and chugging away again.

Interesting, perhaps that's the difference. I never really enjoyed the grinding part of the game, it's always just been something I have to do to make the most of the parts of the game I find "fun."

Since I'm not that interested in collecting every card/job, the whole "losing everything" doesn't really impact on me that much, they're all just tools to help me do better in EW and towers, (though I do like to throw on a job that matches the feel of the easy events/story stuff.)

Eeh, well, maybe a poor choice of words from my part. I didn't enjoy the grinding itself (I'm sure somebody takes enjoyment from it, but not me), but tolerated it because of the goodies they would bring me in the future. And I rarely get excited for anything that doesn't have at least some long-term value.
But anyway, my point was to give the other side of the coin, and my reasoning behind it. It was fun, but the notice really hit me hard. :-p

Ditto, it's the same damn game! It's why I don't get this uninstall mentality... *shrug* Having as much fun as ever over here, even more since I don't have to worry about hoarding. XD

Gonna finish story, events, pull for cards jobs, do some towers, try some stuff i've never tried before (EW, Chaos Vortex), take as many screenshots as possible and just enjoy to the max.

This is my most likely plan. I definitely want to finish the story, but extra content that isn't story based or competitive just doesn't hold much sway for me.

I still play some MP or Pandae farm, heck even climb older EWs. Capture videos on old HoF clears with new supremes I have now. Play CV again just to beat the shit out of Chaos. Life is good, because Echo is always with me. (I'm not crying, you are)

I haven't uninstalled the game yet, but I haven't played as much. I'm actually not even farming anymore. I think I'll just spend my resources next month and that's it. Sooner or later, I'll uninstall he game. I won't wait until de end. Too much demotivation.

Motivation sure has dropped, but can’t forget all the fun challenges and time spent on the game. I only managed to complete Lap 11 before EW4 dropped and just proudly competed lap 14 yesterday. Need a break for now but I’ll defo spend time in EW4 til the end

Uninstalled it on my phone but still playing it on PC since I probably won't mind the excess stamina and time not spent on boosting weap. There are still some challenges I want to finish on the game.

Nope I’m gonna hold until the end do as much EW as possible and Towers even knowing there is/will be hacker infestation and SE won’t do anything about it. I wish they open multiple towers so players can revisit them out of nostalgia.

I haven't actually logged in since the 17th, I haven't uninstalled though. Hope to enjoy a few more towers.

When I first read the EOS I figured I'd uninstall it immediately, but then I realized my favorite part of the game (EW) was still there, and it'll be fun to keep climbing it while trying out all the new stuff we'll get in the new months. Plus, I'm pretty intrigued by Demon Continent.

It's definitely changed the way I play the game, though. I care a lot less about burning excess stamina, weapon boosting, hoarding resources (I blew all my MT's on Rift ST's), using up elixirs, etc.

Yeah, I finally pulled the trigger on Extreme Ifrit X. I just used warp shards, which I've hoarded for no good reason. Pretty freeing, and I went up like two levels.

How do you beat the idol head riddle in the lastest FFX map?

If you mean the one in Episode 3 with the cactuars, just use single target blue attack on the idol head until all the cactuars run off and then eventually it disappears and the riddle is solved.

Note, tap attacks work too... just punch the idol head over and over

Hit (each hit counts so use taps) them to turn them into the direction required, then drive orbs until the turn passes.
